TRIP TO BWINDI IMPENETRABLE NATIONAL PARK

Day 1: Departure from Kampala

 You will be picked up from the hotel where you will be sleeping at 9:00am by our staff from Lente Africano Tours & Travel and we shall start our very exciting journey to Bwindi Impenetrable National Park.  We shall have our very first stopover at Kayabwe for the Equator crossing experience.

Note: Equator crossing experience is free of charge.

Then we shall stopover in Mbarara for our en-route lunch.

From there we shall proceed to the park, arriving late in the evening and you will be checked in to the Ruhondeza Lodge for dinner and overnight stay.

Day 2:  Gorilla Trekking Experience

Immediately after breakfast, we shall head to the park headquarters where you will be briefed about the dos and don’ts before starting the gorilla trekking activity. You will therefore be handed to the park rangers who will guide you through the trekking which will take about 4 hours. After the trekking, you will have one hour for resting and refreshment and afterwards, we shall head for lunch in the lodge. In the afternoon, we shall have a nature walk through the community.

We shall then come back to the lodge for our nice dinner and overnight stay.

Day 3: Finalizing the trip and travel back to Entebbe.

We shall have our breakfast as usual after which, we shall start the journey back to Entebbe, passing through the rolling hills with terraces, having wonderful views of the lush vegetation of the different areas. We shall have our lunch in Fort Portal where we shall get time to visit the Amabere ga Nyinamwiru caves.

Note: Entrance fee to the caves is $30 per person.

 From there, we shall proceed to Entebbe, reaching late in the night and you will be checked into the hotel for an overnight stay and breakfast. Then to summarize our trip, you will be dropped to Entebbe international airport.

That will be the end of our trip.
