3 Days Safari to Lake Mburo

This trip will allow you to explore Lake Mburo national park, which Uganda’s smallest savannah park, featuring a mosaic of landscapes including lakes, wetlands, and rocky ridges that support diverse wildlife and 315 bird species located in southwestern Uganda.

Detailed Itinerary

You will be picked up from the airport or any other place by our representative and be dropped at the hotel where you will have dinner and an overnight stay.

Day 1: Transfer to Lake Mburo National Park.

You will check out from the hotel after breakfast and then head to our exciting destination. We shall first stopover will be at the Equator for photos and a short science demo and then move to Mbarara to grab some snacks and continue to the park. Upon arrival, you will check into your lodge for a relaxing lunch to prepare for the afternoon activities.

In the afternoon, we shall go for the boat cruise on lake Mburo for a unique perspective of the park and its inhabitants like hippos, water birds and the iconic African fish eagle, then have a guided nature walk in the evening

Later on, retire to your lodge for dinner and overnight stay.

Day 2:  Morning game drive and cycling

We shall move out of the lodge after breakfast and go for an early morning game drive where you will be able to see most of the park’s wildlife, head to the lodge for lunch after which you have some few options either to relax at the lodge or to go for cycling and later have dinner and an overnight stay.

Day 3: Departure to Kampala

In the morning after breakfast, you will checkout from the lodge and we embark on the journey back to Kampala. We shall stop at Igongo cultural center and also have lunch there, then continue to Kampala.

You will be dropped to the airport
