4 Days Trip to Murchison Falls National Park

This trip will take you to the oldest and largest conservation area in Uganda, situated in the northwestern part of the country formally referred to as Kabalega. It is one of the most spectacular places in the whole of Africa. The park is known to possess roaring waterfalls, diverse animal life, and beautiful scenery. It is a home to the big five.

Detailed Itinerary

Our representative will pick you up from Entebbe International Airport and will drop you to the hotel for dinner and overnight stay.

Day 1: Set Off from Entebbe.

After breakfast, we shall set off from Entebbe for our memorable safari. We shall first stopover in the Ziwa Rhino sanctuary for rhino tracking. You are very free to take photos and videos for memories.

We shall then stopover in Masindi town where we will have our lunch. After lunch, will have a tour around Masindi city and then proceed to Murchison Falls National Park.

Day 2: Game Drive and Boat Cruise.

After early morning breakfast, we then set off for an early morning game drive in the savannah. Here we shall be able to see various animals including the big five after which we will go for our lunch.

Then in the afternoon, we have our wonderful boat cruise where we will see more animals that we wouldn’t have seen during the game drive like the hippos. As we go for the boat cruise, you are advised to carry some snacks as it takes three hours.

Day 3: Hiking and chimpanzee tracking.

We shall have our breakfast as usual and after we head to the park for a hike and nature walk through the grassland up to the top of the falls. It will be a fabulous experience with beautiful scenic views of the mighty waterfalls, we then continue to Budongo forest for chimpanzee tracking. In the afternoon, we will proceed for swimming to freshen up from the tiresome day and then go back to the lodge for dinner and overnight stay

Day 4: Return to Kampala/ Entebbe.

We shall checkout of the lodge after breakfast and start our journey back to Kampala. We shall stopover in Masindi for a lunchbreak and then continue, arriving in Kampala late in the evening.

Note: Meals will be provided on full board.
